Four thousand plot files of allottees of Sector I-14 has been stolen from Capital Development Authority (CDA).
It was learnt that CDA state management and revenue departments staff issued new allotments on stolen files. The double allotment of plots on these files is continuing since the last several months. State Management sources said over 400 complaints have been received this regard.
The cost of 5-marla plot has surpassed Rs 20,00,000 in Sector I-14 corrupt CDA officials are making money by issuing double allotment of plots.
CDA Director General (Admin) Dr Naeem Rauf said that and enquiry committee has been set up to probe into the matter and he has been nominated enquiry officer, “The proceeding of the enquiry committee will be finalised soon,” he added.
