The Federal Ministry of Religious Affairs has approved the haj flights operation for this year.
According to sources, a total of 1,43,368 haj pilgrims will be sent to Saudi Arabia via 450 haj flights this year.
The haj flights operation will be launched on September 8 with the start of haj pilgrims’ departure to Saudi Arabia and would conclude on November 24 with the return of all Pakistani haj pilgrims.
The last haj flight will leave on October 9 and the first haj flight will return from Jeddah on October 21.
Two Pakistani airlines and two Saudi airlines will take part in the haj flights operation.
The final schedule of the haj flights operation will be issued after Eidul Fitr, sources said.
