After playing the Sikh in ‘Rocket Singh: Salesman Of The Year’, Ranbir Kapoor is set to sport the turban once again for his upcoming film Besharam. Abhinav Kashyap’s Besharam has garnered positive reviews while irking SRK and Sallu fansfor what they view as a spoof on their favourite superstars in the film. But Abhinav remains unperturbed and the director has ensured he goes to all lengths to make the film a pure entertainer. Sources inform that Ranbir will wear the turban for the song Aa Re Aa Re. Earlier, the a fragment of the Sikh community was upset with the Akshay Kumar starrer Singh is King because Akki had a trimmed beard while playing a sardar. However, Besharam’s co producer Himanshu Mehra has stated in the media that Ranbir is not playing a Sikh in the film but is only sporting the turban for a song and that it is not meant to hurt the sentiments of anyone, as the song is done in the right spirit. Famed Bollywood choreographers Chinni and Rekha Prakash shot the song with 250 dancers in Chandigarh.
