She may be reportedly taking a trial separation from her husband Jamie Lomas. But Kym Lomas looked anything like a woman going through marriage troubles as she stepped out for dinner with her daughter Emily and son David in Manchester on Saturday.
Wearing a little black dress which showed off her fabulous figure the 37-year-old made sure her wedding ring was firmly on display. Smiling widely the Coronation Street actress posed up for the camera with her hand on her hip, so her sparkler took centre stage, suggesting the star is keen to work through her martial woes.
Her black dress reached the middle of her thighs showing off her slim, bronzed legs, which she elongated further with a pair of peep-toe platform black heels.
It wasn’t just her leggy display which turned heads, the LBD was also eye catching featuring a jewelled crisscross section across her chest giving a glimpse of her cleavage.
Her black hair looked particularly shiny falling around her shoulders and she wore black eyeliner to accentuate her dark eyes.
Posing up alongside her daughter Emily, who wore a white dress in contrast, it looked as if Kym was enjoying a well-deserved night out. Since the news broke that she had separated from the Jamie – a former regular as Warren Fox on Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks – Kym has been putting on brave face returning to work as per usual.
Sources close to the couple have admitted that Kim has opted to spend time away from Jamie while they ‘struggle to make things work out.’ According to The Mirror Kym opened up for the first time about the issues they are experiencing, saying: ‘How am I feeling? As well as can be expected.’ ‘They are spending time apart at the moment,’ a source told the paper. ‘They want to work through some differences but it doesn’t look good. A trial separation is never a positive thing. This could be the beginning of the end.
‘No one has dumped the other, they just can’t make things work at the moment. It’s very sad and not what either of them ever wanted to happen.’
Kym’s relationship with Jamie began in 2008, shortly after her first marriage to former Eastenders star Jack Ryder came to an end.
The pair eventually tying the knot in Cheshire last September, three-years after their first child Archie died shortly after being born in February 2009.
Speaking to OK! magazine shortly after tying the knot, Kym – whose daughter Polly was born in 2011 – admitted she carried Archie’s ashes in a small porcelain box during the service.
‘I carry Archie’s ashes with me to every special occasion,’ she
said. ‘I like to
feel him close to me, it’s comforting.’
