Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has directed commissioners and deputy commissioners of all flood-affected districts of the province on Sunday to utilise all available resources for the relief and rehabilitation of the affected people.
In a statement, he directed the Relief Commissioner and Balochistan Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) director general (DG) to provide tents‚ edible items and medicines on emergency basis to the flood-affected people.
Balochistan PDMA DG Khalid Baloch said five boats were available in Naseerabad district and five hundred tents were also despatched to the district.
Meanwhile‚ three women were killed and two others went missing when their vehicle drowned in floodwater in the Gogdan area of Turbat, while three children died due to a house-collapse incident in Khuzdar.
