Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) has printed the wrong year and dates on 119,000 result cards of Matriculation examination.
The Matric examination was held in March-April this year but October 2012 has been printed on the result card, while year 2013 is printed in place of registration number. The is creating trouble for students as they are being denied admissions in colleges on the basis of inaccurate result cards.
All Pakistan Private School Management Association (APPSMA) President Ibrar Ahmed Khan demanded the education board high-ups to take strict action against this negligence.
RBISE Chairman Dr Muhammad Ashraf took notice of the situation and constituted an enquiry committee to look into the matter.
Meanwhile, computer branch of the education board has been shifted to the new complex in Morgah area with the equipments still being installed in the new building. The shifting of the computer branch has delayed the process of correction of the Matric result cards.
Now that's a new fake reason ….
