Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Parvez Khattak approved wide-ranging reforms package in the education department which provides for schooling of each and every child in the province to bring quality of education.
He approved the packages during a briefing of working group on education sector reforms on Saturday
On the occasion, the CM stressed to bring each and every child of the province into the education net. He regretted that despite all claims and promises, still three million children were out of schools coupled with high rate of drop outs in the province.
“We must launch a comprehensive and effective campaign to admit these children into schools whichever way it is possible”, he mentioned.
The education working group presented recommendations including viable and practicable proposals for provision of quality education in public sector education institutions, performance-based recognition, peaceful working conditions and environments for the teachers, teachers training, medium of instructions, quality text books and effective curricula.
PTI chief Imran Khan, provincial ministers Mohammad Atif, Shahram Khan Tarakai, Habibur Rehman, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai, MNAs, MPAs and other notables were present on the occasion.
