Sources privy to the development alleged that the top brass in the PTV from the previous government had started giving out-of-turn promotions to junior officers, only to save their own skin. They maintained that only a ‘selected few’ were being kept in mind while preparing the annual progress report of the officials bringing a bad name to the organisation.
According to details, a group of concerned officials wrote a letter to the Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed to bring the situation into his notice and for the betterment of the national institution.
