President Asif Ali Zardari will represent Pakistan in the inauguration ceremony of Iran’s president-elect Hassan Rouhani, presidential spokesman Senator Farhatullah Babar said on Friday.
The ceremony is scheduled for August 4.
Rouhani was elected as Iran’s president after securing more than 18 million votes, more than 50.71 percent of the total votes, during presidential elections in June.
Leaders of various countries, including Afghan President Hamid Karzai, Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, and Syrian Prime Minister Wael Naderal Halqi, will attend the ceremony
