The Pakistan team will be facing Afghan national cricket team in a T20 match in United Arab Emirates, it was learnt here Friday.
The match is based on the agreement between the cricket boards of the two nations, a T20 match will be organized on December 8 this year.”
According to an official of the Afghan Cricket Board, this will be the first T20 match between the first grade and second grade members of the cricket council.
United Arab Emirates has been elected as the venue of T20 match between Afghanistan and Pakistan, and the match between the two countries will coincide with the final match of major continental cup.
Chief Executive of Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) Dr. Noor Mohammad Murad said in a statement: “The cricket board administration of Afghanistan experienced new initiatives in 2013, and the ACB is still progressing towards latest initiatives.”
Dr. Murad further added that the match between the Afghanistan and Pakistan national cricket teams will give a high ferment to the national team of Afghanistan, and everyone will anxiously wait to see the match.
He said the cricket board of Afghanistan, besides the international cricket council schedules is working on a number of plans to bring new initiatives for the Afghanistan cricket in 2014.
