One FC have announced that former Strikeforce fighter Caros Fodor will make an appearance in Asia for the first time and will face South Korean fighter Seung-ho Yang.

The American had an impressive record with the San Jose-based organisation – securing five straight victories after being picked in 2010 – and had been called up to an Ultimate Fighting Championship event earlier in the year.

During UFC 157, he suffered a split decision loss to Canadian Sam Stout and the AMC Pankration man, who trains under One FC head official Matt Hume, took a break from the sport in February.

Fodor (10-7-3), 29, has now decided to fight outside of the United States for the first time and will feature in Kojima vs Leone, the upcoming One FC event in Jakarta, against Yang, an unbeaten Korean fighter with six wins to his name.

The tournament, headlined by a flyweight contest between Andrew Leone and Shinichi Kojima, will feature a total of 22 fighters and One FC announced the final three fights on the card on Friday.

A heavyweight battle has been confirmed between Egyptian Mahmoud Hassan and Cameroonian Alain Ngalani, the latter being the brother of James Kouame who will also be in action against Evolve MMA’s Jake Butler on the night.

Ngalani, 38, is a prolific kickboxer who has amassed 25 wins over the past 15 years although he has yet to take part in a professional mixed martial arts fight.

Indonesia will also have a debutant in grappling expert Max Metino who has been paired up with Cambodian boxing champion Long Sophy.

Sophy has already made a name for himself in Bokator, also known as Khmer boxing, and will be the first fighter from the Southeast Asian nation to feature in One FC.

Finally, Evolve will have a third fighter on the card as Brazilian Almiro Barros will join compatriot Bruno Pucci in making his One FC debut against Australian-Vietnamese Kian Pham.
