CDA suspends ten officials

Ten officers of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) were suspended on Wednesday due to negligence of duties.

CDA Chairman Nadeem Hassan Asif suspended the officials during his visit to Parliament Lodges over poor sanitation arrangements.

Those suspended are Director Mian Muhammad, Deputy Director Muhammad Kashif, Deputy Director Ejaz-ul-Hassan, Assistant Director Khushdil Khan, Assistant Director Shabbir Sandhu, Sub-Engineer (Civil) Mazloom Hussain, Sub-Engineer (Civil) Wajid Hussain, Sub-Engineer (E&M) Malik Ahsan Farid, Sub-Engineer (E&M) Nadir Hussain and Sub-Engineer (E&M) Akhtar Abbas.

According to the orders of Human Resource Development Directorate the officers have been suspended under the CDA Employees Service Regulation 1992.

According to orders, during their suspension the officials are allowed to withdraw substance grant equal to full pay and allowances.
