Amid terror threats, the Punjab government has declared seven jails the most sensitive. As many as 200 prisoners from banned outfits are locked up in these jails so the government has decided to beef up security in these jails to avert any untoward incident.

These jails include Rawalpindi, Adyiala, Multan, Gujranwala, DG khan and Sahiwal. Officials have requested additional police squads to protect these jails from terrorist activity and have predicted that the terrorists will use the darkness in these jails as well as the potential of inmates to become accomplices to their advantage.
