Supreme Court Justice Azmat on Thursday said the Intelligence Bureau (IB) is a federal institution why it is not providing information to the court.
Justice Azmat expressed these remarks while hearing the case of Zaheer Muzafar. A three member bench of the court heard the hearing which was headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry.
Additional Attorney General Tariq Khokhar apprised the court about the missing person, Zaheer Muzaffar.
Justice Chaudhry said that time was precious so it should not be wasted, he also asked the officers concerned about the findings of the inquiry team.
The court also said that intelligence officers should be very careful while conducting inquiry.
Later, the court adjourned the case and directed the police to conduct further investigation and submit report until August 5.
