The federal government has issued a notification regarding a mammoth hike the prices of petroleum products.
According to the summary, the new prices of petroleum products would come into effect on August 1.
Petrol price has been raised by Rs 2.80 per litre and diesel price by Rs 4.59 per litre.
Following the increase, petrol would be sold at Rs 104.50 per litre and high-speed diesel at Rs 109. 76 per litre.
The price of kerosene oil has also been increased by Rs 4.69 and it would now be sold at Rs 101.28.
The price of light diesel has been increased by Rs 3.95 per litre.
