RBISE daily wagers want their wages regularised

Employees of Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) protested against non-regularisation of daily wages.

As many as 150 employees are working on daily wages in RBISE since the last 6 years and their services have not been regularised. As per rules daily wages employee is regularised after completing 3 years of active service.

Employees including skilled, non skilled and semi skilled workers were enrolled on December, 4, 2007 on daily wages. They are paid according to their attendance in office and their salary is deducted if they fall ill or avail leave in case of emergency. The employees protested against deduction of salary in case of unavoidable circumstances and expressed concerns about their future.

The daily wages employees have demanded the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to issue orders for their regularisation or they would be forced to hold protests.
