District administration launched a campaign against unhygienic hotels and bakeries and also issued fines against them.
Three hotels and six bakeries located in Sector F-8/2 Madina Market were checked by district officials and were issued fines for poor hygiene conditions. Samples of different food items were also sent to the laboratory for through investigation. Notices were issued to owners of three hotels for poor sanitation system and warnings were given to improve them.
Meanwhile, 15 hotels and bakeries in G-11 Markaz were also checked and samples of different edibles have been sent to the laboratory for quality check.
District administration has directed hotels and bakeries owners to improve hygiene in their premises or otherwise face strict action.
