Unidentified armed men kidnapped a senior doctor, Assistant Prof Dr Muhammad Ahmed, of the BolanMedicalCollegeHospital from Quetta’s Airport Road on Wednesday.
Police sources said he was on his way home when the armed men intercepted his vehicle and took him away on gunpoint to some unknown destination.
“Four armed kidnappers forced the doctor to board their vehicle near Shaik Manda area on the Airport Road,” the police said.
A case has been registered against the unidentified abductors.
