200 govt colleges of Punjab adopt online admission option

In a bid to match the running of the education department with changing information technology trends, the Punjab government launched an Online Colleges Admission System for around 200 public colleges.According to the state media, the Punjab Information Board was running this plan as a pilot project for the provincial government.The project was launched at a time when the Boards of Secondary Education across the province announced their results.All students who had passed their matriculation examinations were eligible to apply via the admission online system, the officials said.The move would assist students who had to previously visit several colleges individually to collect information regarding their respective admission processes.Interested candidates could visit www.ocas.punjab.gov.pk to assess their admission options.

  1. It's definitely a great step and will great lot of ease for the students. There might be some students those don't know this procedure. They should learn it, it's very easy and convenient.

  2. even then college staff is insisting to submit manually other they will not include in merit list,, actually they are black mailing to the students,, also this is he double standard of Punjab govt.
