A policeman, guarding anti-polio vaccinators, was killed when their team was attacked by gunmen in Balochistan’s Pishin on Tuesday.
According to details available so far, the anti-polio team was performing its duty in Kali Tarana area when unidentified armed motorcyclists opened fire at them, killing policeman Mohammad Shah on the spot. However, all members of the anti-polio team remained unhurt.
The gunmen took the official gun of the slain cop and fled.
