KP CM vows to resolve energy issue

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) was committed to resolving the energy issue and bring peace back to the province.
He said that top priority of the provincial government was to provide cheap energy to the industrial sector, which provides employment opportunities to the people.
The CM said the provincial government will bring change within 90 days in major areas of the province and provide education and health facilities besides introducing a just system for the people.
Khattak said the provincial government would introduce police reforms in KP to ensure transparency in the institution.
Talking to a private TV channel, the CM said that a special commission would be formed to eradicate corruption from the province, adding that judicial system for speedy justice would be improved.
To a question, he said that his government would soon initiate self-intelligence mechanism in KP for eradication of terrorism from the province.
He said that all provincial institutions were in a bad shape and there was corruption everywhere. He added that the provincial government has started work for eradicating corruption.
To another question, he said the PTI government wanted to establish a commission to take initiative on right to information and service law for eradicating corruption in the province. A website would be made for every institution, where all information about the institution would be posted.
He said the PTI government has been assigned the task to improve living standards of the people and it would fulfill all promises made with the people.
