Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) candidate Mian Aslam withdrew his papers for by-polls in National Assembly constituency NA-48 in favour of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Asad Umer.
Aslam withdrew his papers following the decision of his party as leaders of both parties seem to be committed to support each other these days.
According to the JI spokesman, “It is the party’s decision not to participate in the by-polls and therefore our candidate has withdrawn.”
