Khattak claims PTI govt achieved in 60 days what others couldn’t in 60 years
Aug 30 deadline for officials of all administrative department: KP CM
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak on Monday expressed satisfaction over his government’s performance saying it was moving forward according to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s agenda and claimed, “We did in 60 days what others could not accomplish in the last 60 years.”
“I shall make public all these achievements on August 30,” he said while speaking on a point of order in the KP Assembly on Monday.
He said unfortunately the federal government was reluctant to resolve the issues of electricity load shedding and terrorism.
Without mentioning the names of the Awami National Party and leaders of other political forces, the CM said he was surpised to read statements criticising the PTI government in the newspapers every morning.” and would like to question the leaders of those parties on their own performance in the previous five years of government. He claimed that his government was the first to put on track the affairs of almost all government departments.
Khattak said they were determined to implement the PTI agenda of change. He said work would begin from the Revenue and Police departments. Reforms were in progress, he said.
He declared August 30 as the deadline for the officials of all administrative departments and urged the officials to review their departments’ policies otherwise they would face stern action after August 30.
The PTI would make public its agenda for change on August 30, he said.
