PPP will regret its boycott: Nawaz

 

 

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday said the Pakistan People’s Party would regret its decision to boycott the presidential polls

Addressing the PML-N parliamentary party meeting in Islamabad, he hoped that Mamnoon Hussain would come up to the aspirations of the masses and would work for the supremacy and protection of the constitution as president.

Nawaz said Hussain would restore the dignity of the country in the world.

Speaking on the occasion, PML-N presidential candidate Mamnoon Hussain said he would try his best to work according to the expectations of the party and the nation.

The Pakistan People’s Party has boycotted the presidential election in protest against the poll schedule announced by the Supreme Court.

After the boycott, there will be a one-to-one contest between Mamnoon Hussain and PTI candidate Justice (r) Wajihuddin.
