Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik on Sunday said the federal and provincial governments were on the same page on resolving the Balochistan issue.
Talking to a private news channel, the CM said the Balochistan government was responsible to maintain peace and tranquility in the province while the federal government had assured to provide every kind of assistance for the purpose.
To a question, he claimed that after coming to power the number of target killings and missing persons had decreased in the province.
It was his priority to bring the disgruntled people to the negotiating table for restoring peace in the province, he added.
He said the Balochistan government had presented a development budget and it increased the educational budget from four to 24 percent.
Dr Malik said that 18th constitutional amendment was a big change and his becoming chief minister was a great shift in the politics of the country.
