Sindh can play key role in overcoming power crisis: Qaim

Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has said the federal and provincial governments would have to work jointly to overcome the electricity crisis.
Chairing a meeting provincial metropolis‚ he said Sindh could play a key role in overcoming this crisis.
He pointed out that fine quality coal existed in the Thar area that could produce thousands of megawatts of electricity.
In addition huge potential existed for wind energy in the coastal areas of province as well, he added.

  1. And what about solar energy, wave & tidal energy (where possible) ? For cooling the Karachi area one has to lay a net work of pipes in the buildings, pump seawater from a depth of just few hundred feet, circulate & discharge it back. Energy for this project ? Solar of course. There is no shortage of that any where in Pakistan. There is shortage of will, sincerity, and intelligence; I do not have an answer for that.

  2. Shah Sahib, If Sindh could play a key role in overcoming power crisis, where were you since last few years? You were in power in Sindh,since last 5 years and your Party PPP was at Federal level, why this wise thought not came out of your mind then ? Talking too much is bad for your health and please avoid tall claims.

  3. shahjee were taking care of the puppy…..Mr Jamal Mustafa Qazi….DC of South Karachi since being demoted after SC orders….he has not appeared in any exam and still enjoying all the perks….courtesy his daddy Mr Tappi…he defaulted on credit cards and now buying property too
