LDA demolishes illegal structures on Defence, Ferozepur roads

The Lahore Development Authority’s (LDA) town planning wing conducted an operation against illegal constructions on the Defence and Ferozepur roads on Saturday and razed several structures that had been constructed in violation of the building bylaws.

The LDA demolished a shop adjacent to Sheran Wala Estate Agency on the Defence road and another one opposite the DHA Rahber adjacent to Khalil Estate Agency. Two commercial-type structures were demolished near Yosaf town and the Haloki village, respectively. Shops at foundation level opposite the main gate of the DHA Rahber were also razed to the ground.

On the Ferozepur Road a factory-type structure with steel columns and walls opposite Sheikh Noor-ul-Din and Sons on Nangar Phatak Kahna road was demolished. Shops opposite the Nazim House on Gaju Matu and a ramp in the Venus Housing Scheme were also demolished by LDA officials.
