Industrial, CNG stations shut down schedule announced

All the CNG stations will close their operation completely for three days and no gas sales would be allowed in the entire Sindh province during this shut down period. The industrial sector would observe only one day shut down as has been the case earlier.
Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) had announced the schedule for Industrial shut down and CNG closure for the coming week. In compliance with sectoral priority order for gas load management, during the coming week, all CNG stations in Sindh region would remain closed for three days. According to the schedule, all CNG stations would remain closed from 08:00 am on Tuesday 30 July 2013, till 08:00 am on Wednesday, 31 July, 2013 for 24 hours.
Another shut down would be observed on Thursday (1st August, 2013) from 08:00 am to Friday (2nd August, 2013) till 08:00 am for 24 hours. Meanwhile, the third shut down would commence from 8.00 am on Saturday (3rd August, 2013) and would end on Sunday (4th August, 2013) till 8:00 am for 24 hours.
CNG stations found operative during this period would have their gas supply disconnected. SSGC authorities have also advised the owners of the CNG stations to stop all sale of CNG to vehicles, where safety the CNG cylinders was in question.
All the industrial and captive power units in the entire region would observe the gas shut down for one day, which would commence from 7 am on Sunday (28th July, 2013) and would end at 7am on Monday (29th July, 2013). Meanwhile, surveillance teams would be monitoring the compliance and have been fully authorised to disconnect gas supply for 48 hours of any customer found violating the above schedule.
SSGC regretted the inconvenience that might be caused to CNG users and industrialists during the above notified shut down period.
