During the course of proceeding, the Sindh prosecutor general appeared before the court and informed the bench about the details of the case.

The CJ directed the attorney general to supervise the trial and keep the apex court updated with the progress.

Justice Jawwad S Khawaja remarked that the court appreciated the sense of responsibility by the Rangers but the loss of life could never be compensated.

The bench inquired from the prosecutor general about the progress of Ghulam Haider’s killing by Rangers in 2011. The prosecutor told that the trial was under process.
