‘Altaf has always advised party workers to be patient’

The members of Muthahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Central Coordination Committee Haider Abbas Rizvi, Amir Khan and Adil Khan said on Friday that their party chief Altaf Hussain has always advised his workers and masses to be patient, steadfast, and respectful towards parents and teachers.
The members of the Central Coordination Committee said that in spite of all the atrocities committed against the MQM and its workers, Hussain had always given priority to tolerance and patience, instead of indulging in fights.
These views were expressed by the members of the committee before the participants of the Iftar parties arranged under the sector office of MQM Federal B area and scheme 33 Sector in Al-Hina garden Maskan Chowrangi Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
The Haq Parast members of National Assembly Nabil Gabool, Sufian Yousuf, Iftikhar Alam, Muzammil Qureshi, members of Sindh Assembly Faisal Sabzwari, Abdullah Sheikh, Khalid Bin Wilayat, the in charge members and office bearers of Karachi Tanzeemi Committee (KTC) were also present on the occasion.
They further said that despite all the negative propaganda being launched against the MQM, Hussain had always advised his workers in to remain patient, especially keeping the significance of the holy month of Ramadan in mind. He had instructed his workers to ignore provocative campaign of the opponents and miscreants and to instead commit themselves to promoting brotherhood in society.
The Committee members said MQM was the representative of poor, middle class and deprived segments of society. All expenses were fulfilled by donations made by well off people, while relief goods were also distributed among the orphans, widows, and the poor during the last days of Ramadan.
Furthermore, the members of the Committee appealed to the masses and workers to submit the amount of Zakat and charity to the Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF) to become part in the ongoing welfare work.
The members of both houses of the National and Provincial Assemblies Nabeel Gabool, Faisal Sabzwari and Khalid Bin Wilayat also addressed the participants of the Iftar.
