Seven more killed in violence

At least seven persons were killed and several others injured, including a woman, in the fresh spate of violence that erupted in different localities of the city on Tuesday.
According to police, a man identified as Abdul Ghani, 26, was gunned down near Mohajir camp in Baldia Town. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities. 40-year-old Khadim Hussain was shot dead over a personal dispute near Rim Jhim Tower in Saadi Town in the vicinity of Malir Cantt Police Station.
In another incident, unknown armed men gunned down one person in Safoora Goth locality of the city and fled the scene. The body was later shifted to hospital for postmortem and identification purposes.
In yet another incident of firing, a youngster was killed when unidentified gunmen opened fire at him in Shershah area.
A security guard of a private company identified as Shakil, 38, was wounded in a firing incident at Garden East area. In addition, one person sustained injury by firing at Gulzar-e-Hijri, scheme 33 adjacent to Super Highway.
In a different firing incident, armed motorcyclists opened fire on people near Nazimabad Board office, injuring four, including a city warden, his son and a woman.

The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where according to hospital sources their condition was out of danger.
Police also recovered two bullet riddled and tortured bodies packed in gunny bags from different localities of Lyari Agra Taj.
Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies during separate actions nabbed more than 10 criminals, besides recovering arms and drugs from their possession.
