East Court Judicial Magistrate Irum Jahangir extended the remand of four arrested Rangers personnel in the taxi driver shooting case on Monday.
According to details, police presented Rangers’ personnel Lance Naik Ghulam Rasool, plus constables Qadeer, Barkat and Waqar at the city court on Monday morning. On this occasion police pleaded that they needed more time to obtain the duty record of the accused personnel.
The Supreme Court also ordered the police to present the case before July 26th after completing the investigation. Four Rangers officials were in police custody in connection with the unfortunate incident. Ghulam Rasool, is the main accused in the incident. On July 18, the officials were remanded in police custody till July 22nd, however, it has now been extended owing to slow investigation by the police.
