A young man committed suicide in the precincts of Bani Police Station at Saidpuri Gate over a domestic situation.
According to details, Muhammad Zahid got married five months ago and worked as a labourer. He was unable to make ends meet with his meager earning. The family found him hanged with the ceiling fan after he went inside a room and did not come out. He was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The hospital administration later handed over the body to the relatives of the deceased. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
