PSM in a tight squeeze as another meeting called

Despite the weekend, Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Saadat Cheema held another emergency meeting with the senior directors at the operations building, Pakistan Steel. During the meeting it was decided that Pakistan Steel Mills’ case would be taken up with the federal government and inform it about the current problems being faced by the organization. Among all the issues the payment of salaries to the employees of PSM was given top priority in the meeting.
The CEO assured that the case of steel mill would be taken up with the Ministry of Finance through Ministry of Industries and Production as soon as possible, so that it may be discussed in the upcoming session of ECC and all the issues including the payment of salaries may be resolved.
During the meeting the CEO said that Pakistan Steel is a national asset and thousands of people and families depend on the organization. All these officers and employees make the organization what it is. He further said that the steel giant had a lot of potential and hoped that the organization would one day again stand on its own feet and do what it does best.
