A complete strike was observed in the Indian held Kashmir for the third consecutive day on Sunday in protest against the Indian army’s atrocities, reports local media.

The roads and the streets wore a deserted look and all the shopping centres were closed in the valley.

Following the call of strike, curfew was clamped, however, it was later lifted and heavy contingents of army remained posted on roads and streets.

It may be recalled that four Kashmiris were martyred by the firing of Indian paramilitary force on Thursday when they were demonstrating against the sacrilege of holy Quran by the Indian forces.
