A woman was tortured and her hair cut off by her husband’s brother in Sohrab Goth area of the metropolis on Sunday because she talked on mobile phone for long hours.
According to police, 15-year-old Rimsha, a resident of Ayub Goth, came to the police station and registered a complaint against her husband’s brother who cut off her hair.
Police arrested the accused, Sharafuddin and registered a case against him.
He told police that he cut off her hair as she did not stop talking on mobile phone for hours even after she was asked not to do so.
