Hearing of the judges’ detention case could not take place on Saturday as the judge of Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) was on annual leave.
Judge Kausar Abbas Zaidi of the ATC was to hear the case and statements of the witnesses were to be recorded against Pervez Musharraf. Statements of six out of 35 witnesses have been recorded and the court has summoned the remaining 29 witnesses on Saturday.
The witnesses who have been summoned include 24 lawyers. However, no lawyer has recorded his statement so far. Those who have recorded their statements include five policemen and one correspondent of the state-owned TV.
The hearing of the case was adjourned till August 24.
