A man stated to be policeman, tortured his wife to death over domestic disputes on Sunday. The police have arrested two accused involved in the murder.
Constable Nadeem hailing from Ghaziabad area of Lahore quarreled with his wife Tehmeena. Both exchanged hot words, after which Nadeem tortured his wife to death.
The deceased had married Nadeem six years ago and was the mother of three children.
Neighbours and relatives said the couple had repeated quarrels over domestic issues which led to the heinous crime.
On complaint of the deceased’s brother, the police arrested Nadeem and his maternal uncle.
