Renowned Analyst Dr Shahid Hassan Siddiqui has lauded the efforts of the current government to overcome the prevailing energy crisis.
Highlighting the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s recent visit to China he said that China is a trusted partner of Pakistan and several agreements and Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) for economic development have been signed among the two countries.
He said that the United States and the United Kingdom have also shown interest to invest in Pakistan but was more optimistic regarding ties with the friendly neighbour. “I am hopeful that cooperation with China will ensure development, progress and prosperity of the country,” he added.
