The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) will file an application in the Accountability Court (AC) seeking the arrest of former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani in the OGRA corruption case.

Per media reports, NAB will file the application on July 23.

Sources said the prime accused and former OGRA chairman, Tauqir Sadiq had exposed the role played by the former PM in the OGRA scam during the investigations. “Therefore, Gilani’s arrest has been sought,” they added.

The sources further said NAB would soon issue notices against the Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan chairman and others in connection with this scandal.
