The Lahore High Court (LHC) was moved on Saturday for stay in the presidential elections.
The petitioner, Azhar Siddique advocate has taken plea that the implementation of Article 63 of the constitution was suspended during Pervez Musharraf’s regime.
The petition is currently pending with high court. As competent candidates cannot come forward without the enforcement of article 63, holding the presidential elections should stay till the petition is decided, he hoped.
