Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that the government was considering the possibility of publication of the Abbottabad Commission Report.

Responding to questions by newsmen in Lahore on Saturday‚ he said a ministerial committee led by former Law Minister Farooq H Naik had recommended not publishing report.

To a question, the minister said the prime minister would announce names of presidential candidate of the PML-N and names of governors.

To another query, he said the government had improved intelligence coordination leading to success in anti-terrorism efforts.

He pointed out that a terrorist gang was busted in Karachi that was a major success.

Rashid said the prime minister had already started taking briefings from concerned agencies about national security strategy.

He added that the government gave proposal for change of polling day for presidential election as it clashed with 27th of Ramadan, the Lailatul Qadr.

  1. Sad to see these people come in government and gain weight almost immediately. On a different note; after clandestine disclosure the original draft should have been releases asap.

  2. Hahahaaha…what a joke!! Thank you but we already have the one with names redacted and know you don't have the guts to release the first draft that named names.

And no matter which version you release, it will be full of bvll as the purpose of the commission was to cover-up….
