If you thought Farhan Akhtar could bid adieu to his gruelling exercise and diet regime, now that Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s biopic ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ is out, you couldn’t be more wrong. Apparently, the actor, who has been training hard for over a year to get under the skin of ‘The Flying Sikh’, will have to continue wearing his running shoes for the next two months. Reason is two songs and a few scenes of Shaadi Ke Side Effects directed by Saket Chaudhary and produced by Pritish Nandy Communications, remain to be shot, and Farhan simply cannot afford to regain any of the weight he had lost during the filming of the second half of Bhaag… A source told TOI, “Farhan has been told that if he stops his running and other exercises at this juncture, he will put on the kilos all over again. And this would disturb the continuity of his next film, which had started right after Bhaag….” Farhan wants to ensure this problem doesn’t occur, pointed out the source, adding, “It is better to be safe than sorry, and hence, he is following his physical trainer Samir Jaura’s instructions to the T.”
