Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to launch development work immediately in Sectors E-12 and I-12.
CDA has invited tenders from different construction companies. As many as Rs 450 million will be spent on the construction of roads in Sector E-12. Tenders were opened on Thursday and AEC Construction Firm has offered lowest bid amongst bidders of all other countries.
The lowest rate is due to open competition among the firms which will enable CDA to save Rs 80 million. AEC received the contract of Service Road West in Sector I-12 at a lower rate by 33.33 percent. The estimated cost of construction of the road is Rs 53 million but the construction firm has offered to construct the road at a cost of Rs 35 million.
It is worthy to mention that development work in Sector E-12 is being started after a gap of 23 years.

what is the obstruction now, trust me these bugger have no interest in a project where they can not make quick money.
As an allottte of Federal Government Housing Foundation, I know how difficult it was to arrange payment for a piece of land in E-12, but still I am waiting to see the sector developed for the last 2 and half decades- not to speak of when to build the house over it.
It seem to me that cda is not intrusted to de lope E12 look to the web page after 20 of july no any update,

Islamabad, March 04, 2014 On the directions of Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), Maroof Afzal a Camp/Site Office of Land and Rehabilitation Directorate has been established at Dhok Choora Stop, Sector E-12 to facilitate the affectees. The Revenue Staff deputed at Camp/Site Office will process the pending claims at site for early disposal of their rehabilitation benefits.
CDA acquired land for opening up of Sector E-12 in 1985. Subsequently different awards for acquisition of Build Up property (BUP) were announced to compensate the affectees. CDA Board in its meeting dated 12-02-2014 has decided to compensate the affectees by providing them rehabilitation benefits on analogy of Sector D-12.
sub duwa karo is dafa lagta hay development work will start……………………………
Let's fervently hope CDA authorities at long last pursue the development of much delayed Sector E 12… !!! All those allotted plots 25 years or so ago need to get organized to effectively voice their 'predicament'…. !!!!
Still awaiting latest work done on E 12 sector, I may request CDA to desclose tentative dates for this sector
No, result people are still waiting, a big shame for CDA,just making news only for the sake to sale more plots to people,a
CDA is rubbish, no hope for the development of E-12
