PML-N MPA’s son slaps cop for stopping him at picket

In a blatant display of arrogance, the son of a ruling party provincial lawmaker slapped and humiliated a police constable for daring to stop him at a picket to search his car, a private TV channel reported late on Thursday.

According to the channel, Sheheryar Sindhu, the son of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member of Punjab Assembly Tahir Ahmed Sindhu (shown in picture), attacked a police constable at a picket near Fortress Stadium in the heavily guarded cantonment area when the latter sought to search his car.

According to witnesses, Sheheryar first humiliated the uniformed police official and then slapped him in front of several bystanders.

The police personnel manning the picket immediately took Sheheryar into custody and took him to the North Cantt Police Station where a case was registered against him for attacking an on-duty policeman.

A few days earlier, a case was registered against another ruling party MPA from Sheikhupura, Asif Sandheela for manhandling a female doctor.

Very rude of him Taking physical action against the law/police officer is a serious offence He must be taken to task by the Police and also by PML N though DAD is not directly involved but his son humiliated the officer keeping in mind that no one can do much against him because his DAD is MPA It is sad what he did to Officer

  3. A clear message needs to sent by dismissing/removed these MPA from the assembly and placed on list of persons to take part in any future election.

    Unless PML takes such an extreme step and thus sets an example, the impression will be that such incidents are happening with full backing of the Sharif brothers.

    • It is happening,did you hear about Shahbaz Sharif's son using governments helicopter,getting VVIP treatment,24 official cars surrounding him like he was the PM to go to the sasta bazzare.All the politicians kids think they should be treated like they were special,daddies allow it and they live off of Pakistani public's money while the public starves.Unfortunately no one has the guts to question them,media only prints it but will never question them

  10. Must be punished – son of this MPA. Enough is Enough!! We are sick and tired of this arrogance. Put him in jail. Am glad that police people registered a case against him, otherwise they just leave such people and let them go. PUNISH HIM. A lesson and message for all.

PM Shehbaz Sharif shuld must take action against him as they famous for it. it have become a common trend in our country that children of any ruling patie's MPA, MNA consider themselves all in all. There should must be investigation and punihment criteria for them as for a grass root level. We have to change our Pakistan now. what we did't do till now, we have to do if we want to save motherland.

    PTI is a bunch of opportunists (Qureshis, Hashmis, Swatis), fraudsters (Aleem Khan, Mansha Sindhu) and fake degreeholders (Ayla Malik, Ghulam Sarwar Khan) etc.

    Allah Almighty has saved Pakistan from the scourge of these criminals.
