All cases in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) including 600 inquiries and 250 investigations are being processed even in the absence of chairman of the department. NAB spokesperson said discussions in media have created the impression that NAB is currently dysfunctional. Absence of chairman does impede NAB’s functioning when it comes to issuing arrest warrants of higher-grade officials, Individuals, or initiating fresh cases by the head quarters; however all other matters are working according to their routine, he said.
