Six protesters killed in Indian troops firing in IHK

At least six Kashmiris were killed and several others were injured when the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) fired at protesters outside their camp in Indian-held Kashmir’s Ramban district on Thursday.

BSF personnel opened fire on a protesting mob in Dadam village of Gole tehsil, district Ramban, when they took to roads against Wednesday’s incident of manhandling of a religious leader, Qari Shabir, by the Indian troops who also allegedly committed sacrilege of mosque and the holy Quran during their search into a the mosque.

At least six protesters were killed and many others injured in the BSF firing. They were shifted to district hospital Ramban, 151 kilometers from Jammu.
