Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday took notice of the media reports about the 25 out-of-order filtration plants in the federal capital.
The PM directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Nadeem Hassan Asif to suspend the concerned assistant director and take appropriate action. Following the directives the chairman set up an enquiry committee led by a Member Environment of the civic authority and sought report in 24 hours.
When contacted, Member Environment denied receiving any order from the chairman to hold the enquiry.
