A man gunned down his wife over a domestic dispute early on Thursday morning, and then fled the scene.
According to details, Ali Ahmed, a labourer from the Manga Mandi area, exchanged some heated words with his wife over a domestic issue.
The angry husband then opened fire on his wife, Saima (31), injuring her critically and then escaping from the scene.
Neighbours rushed the injured Saima to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her wounds. The police have registered a case against the murderer and begun raids for his arrest.
