FBR restores sales tax zero-rating facility on various items

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Thursday restored sales tax zero-rating facility on various items.

Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar directed the restoration of the zero-rating facility on various dairy products, stationery items and bicycles.

According to a notification issued by the FBR, the facility was also restored on raw materials, packing materials, sub-components, components, sub-assemblies and assemblies of imported or locally purchased goods for the manufacture of the aforementioned goods.
